Clouds of small (> ½ in) pale blue-violet flowers with centers changing from white to deep red from August through October, broadly heart-shaped 2-6" deep green leaves – one of the most attractive aster foliages (in my opinion), excellent very late season nectar source that attracts butterflies & bees, beautiful cut flowers.
