Narrow-leaved Cattail Sedge
Inconspicuous flowers in late spring lead to showy thimble-shape seed heads (cattails?) that persist all summer, graceful grass-like 1/4” wide foliage grows in clumps with each blade up to 1’ long, tolerates periodic flooding, a good rain garden plant.
