A stately plant with starry yellow 2" daisy-like flowers from July through October, leaves divided into 3 narrow segments up to 4.5" long, anise-like odor, spreads by rhizomes, Goldfinches love the seeds, attracts butterflies, tolerates very poor soil, recovers easily from drought.
