Great flat-topped heads up to a foot across composed of small white flowers top this erect, clump-forming plant from August through November, very thin 1-3" grass-like leaves are arranged in whorls up the stem with clusters of very small leaves at the axils creating a very fine texture, attracts butterflies, drought resistant.
