Large clustered panicles of white flowers (each up to 0.5-1" wide) from August through September, long narrow leaves, butterfly host for Pearl Crescent (Phyciodes tharos), Pearl Crescent (Phyciodes tharos) salt tolerant, attracts Butterflies and native Bees, birds enjoy the seeds, tolerates a wide range of soils (clay, gravel, rocks!), spreads by seed & rhizomes.
