Cattail sedge Picture

This neat little clump-forming sedge does indeed look like a sort of miniature cattail, plants flower from July through August & produce little decorative 'cattails' on sturdy stems, these decorative seed heads persist into the winter months, leaves are up to 18" long to 3/8" wide & attractive, good rain garden plant.
