Striking yellow daisy-like flowers up to 3 1/2 inch wide from June through September, stiff branched stems bear oval-elongate heart-shaped leaves, becomes pleasantly bushy in full sun, easy to grow, good for meadows and floodplains, tolerates poor soil (you know - clay, gravel, rocky), will spread easily by seed, attracts butterflies and pollinators, birds love to eat the seeds, great cut flower.
