A less-common form of Summer Phlox, this plant forms healthy clumps of erect stems which produce incredible cones of bright white flowers from June-August. Clay tolerant and attractive to butterflies, native bees, and hummingbirds alike, this form if anything outshines its more colorful pink-flowered twin, with pure-white flowers so bright that they almost appear to have an orchid-ish waxy look to the petals, which are remarkably resistant to the browning that midsummer heat can impart on other flowers.
