Tiny white flowers scattered over 2 foot long arching branched panicles attract pollinators from August to early September, very open and airy effect, slightly wrinkled leaves are up to 6 inch long, tolerant of salt and disturbance, does well in sunny roadside conditions, spreads by seed, pollen and nectar source for native bees and small butterflies, song birds enjoy the seeds.
